At Acosta Heating, Cooling & Electrical, we specialize in maintenance for residential Generac generators, providing thorough, professional service to keep your system in top condition year-round.

Our annual generator maintenance visit includes a detailed inspection and service of all major components to ensure reliable performance and long-term peace of mind.

Your Acosta Club Generator Maintenance Service Includes:

  • Running the generator through its automatic exercise cycle
  • Verifying successful operation with no active alarms or warnings
  • Ensuring the unit is set to “Auto” mode for automatic startup
  • Checking and closing the circuit breaker
  • Changing the oil, oil filter, air filter, and fuel filter
  • Testing the battery, charger, and cables
  • Inspecting belts, coolant heater, and crankcase breather
  • Checking for fluid leaks and cleaning components as needed
  • Replacing spark plugs and flushing the cooling system (as required)
  • Load bank testing for performance under simulated demand
  • Evaluating code compliance and providing recommendations to improve system reliability and efficiency

Not an Acosta installation? No problem!

If your Generac generator wasn’t installed by us, we’ll first schedule a Generator Check-Up before enrolling you in our maintenance program. During this one-time visit, our trained technicians will:

  • Confirm the generator is in good working condition
  • Verify the installation was done to code and meets current safety standards
  • Identify and advise on any necessary repairs or upgrades before ongoing service begins

This extra step helps us ensure your system is safe, compliant, and ready for dependable maintenance.
